Looking for inspiration, ideas or advice for your next home renovation? Check out the Toronto Fall Home Show, September 23 to 25, 2016 at the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place.
This year’s show features more than 300 exhibitors, celebrity experts and renovators, plus many great resources for anyone looking to renovate, refurbish or redecorate their space.
Don’t miss the Five Steps to a Successful Renovation seminar on Sunday, September 25 at 11 a.m., where two professional RenoMark renovators will discuss the five-step guide to renovating a home or condo, answer questions from the audience and offer helpful renovation tips.
Finding a professional renovator to work with is a key component of planning a renovation, and this seminar will help you do that. Presenters will explain what to include in your written contract, how to communicate with your renovator throughout the project and the advantage of working with a professional.
Destination Renovation is another feature you won’t want to miss. This is BILD’s feature exhibit at the Fall Home Show, offering free one-on-one consultations with RenoMark renovators. The exhibit’s team of professional renovators will share their knowledge and offer expert advice on obtaining building permits, selecting material and more. Visitors are encouraged to bring sketches, photos, and plans.
Destination Renovation will also give you the tools to find the renovation professional that is right for your project. A great resource is renomark.ca/Home, the website for the RenoMark program that connects homeowners with professional renovators, trade contractors and custom builders in their area.
You can visit Destination Renovation throughout the three-day show while the Five Steps to a Successful Renovation seminar is only happening the once.
This year’s show will be bigger and better than ever. There are numerous great products from hundreds of exhibitors, many of whom are BILD members. Some use the show to introduce new products based on the newest technology or that showcase the latest design trends.
Among the highlight at this year’s Fall Home Show is the 5th annual Upcycle Challenge, where celebrity designers and decorators will use old furniture from the Habitat ReStore to create beautiful storage solutions. All the upcycled pieces can be viewed and purchased at the show, with proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity.
These are just some of the numerous features and exhibits found at this year’s Fall Home Show. Visit fallhomeshow.com/ for more information or to purchase tickets. Redeem the promo code SUN2 for $5 off regular adult admission.
Hope to see you at the show.
